Hearing Tests

You will receive the highest standard of care

Your hearing test will be conducted by a member of our Audiology team. Please click here to find out more about our team.

All our Audiologists are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), hence you can be assured that you will receive the highest standard of care. Prior to your hearing test, you will sit with an Audiologist for a discussion about what your concerns are in particular. The hearing test will then be explained to you and you will enter one of our modern sound proof booths that ensure accurate results are collected. The hearing test will last approximately 15 minutes.

After the hearing test, your Audiologist will provide a print out of your result and explain in detail, the condition of your hearing. If you are interested in trying hearing aids, we will talk to you about the range of premium hearing aids that we have on offer.

In addition to the hearing test, if further investigation is required, our state of the art equipment can be used to conduct:

Tympanometry
Acoustic Reflex
Speech Audiometry
Transient and DP Otoacoustic Emissions

At London Hearing, we are very fortunate in the fact that we have an in-house Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) clinic. Hence if further referral is required for specialist investigation by a Consultant, we are also able to provide same day appointments where possible. To find out more about our ENT Consultants

The cost of an appointment is £100, which includes a hearing test and a detailed 1-on-1 consultation with an Audiologist.
