Clarissa Purdy – Audiologist
Having obtained a BSc Healthcare Science – Audiology (Honours) degree from Swansea University, Clarissa began her working experience in the NHS. With notable placements such as the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor and prior to London Hearing, in the Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.
She is fully qualified and experienced to carry out audiology assessments and dispense hearing aids.
Clarissa is articulate in her role and has been interviewed by the Guardian newspaper, performed in an audiology promotion video and is very passionate about the field.
She has a particular interest in the relationship between cognition and hearing loss.
When not working, her personal interests include exploring the world, theatre, watching horror movies and skiing.
