Hearing loss can occur in many ways and can affect quality of life considerably, we often don’t appreciate how valuable our hearing is until we experience hearing deficit in some way.
Hearing loss is a hidden disability and very often it affects self esteem and confidence – the ripple effects are notable when loved ones also suffer because there is basically a block in communication.
Sometimes the reason for the loss is simple, it could be because of wax or a bad cold and the problem is easily resolved, sadly in some cases it can be more permanent and further advice and counseling are required.

Do you find it difficult to hear in noise or when there are groups of people?
Do you find the TV or radio is being turned up to a level at which others find too loud?
Do you feel less motivated to attend events for fear of not hearing others around you?
Do you suffer from ringing in the ears?
Do friends and loved ones complain they have to repeat themselves to you?
